SECFORCE tool TAOF has been included on BackTrack 2 Live CD

TAOF, a tool developed by one of our consultants has been included in one of the most well known security live CDs. TAOF 0.3.2 has been included on the CD and the tests performed by SECFORCE indicate that the tool is working properly in the distribution.

Taof is a GUI cross-platform Python generic network protocol fuzzer. It has been designed for minimizing set-up time during fuzzing sessions and it is especially useful for fast testing of proprietary or undocumented protocols.

The inclusion of the tool in the CD makes it clear the importance of fuzzing techniques among security professionals and how it has become a mainstream resource in vulnerability discovery.
